USER MANUAL ----------------------------------------------

This utility will convert catalogs created by the DOS version
of OYC (version 5.x or 6.x) to the format used by the
shareware version of ORGANIZE! Your Collection In Windows.
The registered version of OYC In Windows includes the
ability to automatically detect and convert DOS OYC
catalog files.

Not all DOS OYC catalog files need conversion.  Starting
with version 6.05, the DOS version of OYC produces catalog
files that are fully compatible with the Windows version.

BE SURE YOU HAVE A BACKUP COPY (preferable two) OF YOUR
CATALOG BEFORE CONVERTING IT.



USING THIS UTILITY -----------------------------------------

Copy the DOS-WIN.EXE file to the same drive and directory
as contain the OYC DOS catalog to be converted. At the DOS 
prompt for that directory type DOS-WIN and push ENTER.
This will run the conversion utility.

The first screen provides information about the conversion
utility and registering OYC In Windows.

The next screen askes for the name of the catalog to
be converted.  Enter the catalog name.  Do not enter the
full filename--the filename extension is not needed an
extension of "DAT" will automatically be added.

The utility will go through the catalog file and update
it for use with OYC In Windows.  No changes will be
made to the information in the catalog.
