ShopDoor: PROBLEMS AND SOLLUTIONS
ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ

Introduction
============
Of course program-users have always a few problems
using their program.

For these problems there are sollutions.
We shall put them together in this text-file.
If you have a problem and there isn't a sollution available yet,
please tell us !!!


Problem 1:
==========
We registrated the ShopDoor and installed the keys
for the ShopManager and the ShopDoor.
The ShopManager works fine (registrated),
but the ShopDoor is still not registrated !!!

Sollution 1:
============
You are using a old DEMO 'SHOP.CTL'-file.
Just run the ShopManager, go to the Menu-Editor and
save the Menu-data !  The 'SHOP.CTL'-file will be
updated with the information from your ShopManager-key.
The ShopDoor will be registrated now !!!
(the program is protected in many protections ways...)


Problem 2:
==========
You didn't see any screen when entering the Order-menu.

Sollution 2:
============
You have upgraded the ShopDoor from a version older
then v1.80  Unpack the file 'example.arj' and copy
the files SHOP*.ANS to your ShopDoor-directory.


Problem 3:
==========
You got 'runtime errors' or other strange things...

Sollution 3:
============
You have upgraded the ShopDoor from an older
version and forgot to convert your old databases
and/or save your menu-structure again.
This can be done using your ShopManager !

Problem 4:
==========
When a user walks through one of your database-screens:
strange things happens...

Sollution 4:
============
You are using an extern modem and you don't have
a fast I/O-card in your computer, or you have a
old intern modem with a slow UART....
Please buy a fast I/O-card OR an intern modem
with a fast UART on it.
A fast I/O-card cost you about $20 US Dollars and
the ShopDoor will work fine. Also your modem will
have a higher CPS-RATE now !!!
When this doesn't work also, place in your
ShopDoor-screens the text: 'Use your Keypad, NUMLOCK ON'.
It will work fine, because no cursor-keys will
be used....

Problem 5:
==========
Something else is still wrong...

Sollution 5:
============
Take a Beer, because Murphy is arround...
