E! for Windows 2.00c - Upgrade Package

         This package contains a patch upgrading E! for Windows from
    version 2.00b to version 2.00c. Changes are described in the file named
    CHANGES.TXT. This is mainly a maintenance upgrade. Although a few
    features have been added or enhanced, we plan to make more important
    modifications in version 2.1.

         To apply the patch, you have to use the PATCH program delivered
    with E! 2.00b. Please follow these steps to proceed:

         1. Due to an inconsistency in the different versions of PATCH
            distributed with some products, previous versions of E! have
            been distributed with PATCH.EXE 2.10. Although this version
            worked with previous patches, we may not distribute it.
            Please be sure to use the version of PATCH.EXE (2.02) that we
            have distributed with the previous patch (2.00b).

         2. Copy EW200C.RTP in the directory where EW.EXE is stored.

         3. Run the following command:

                PATCH EW200C [/BACKUP] [/I]

            The Backup command is optional. Use it only if you want to
            backup your current files.

            Use the /I option if you don't want PATCH to stop the
            process at the first missing file.

         4. PATCH should process EW.EXE and EWRES.DLL. Please report any
            problem if it fails to do so. This patch applies to version
            2.00b only.

         5. Run E! and open the About dialog box. It should indicate
            that you're running version 2.00c (build date: October 24,
            1994).


         Please report any problem through the usual channels.

         We hope that you'll be statisfied with this upgrade. Many of you
    have made good suggestions. When possible, we will take them into
    account in E! version 2.1.
