ABOUT WFXRCV - WinFAX Auto Receive Controller v1.1 ============================================================= WFXRCV was developed to automatically disable/enable WinFAX'x automatic receive feature when using other programs that access the same serial port as WinFAX. WFXRCV can be used in two ways: 1) As a simple WinFAX Pro Auto-Receive enabler/disabler via command line switches. This allows WinFAX to be used from other programs, that may require periodic use of the serial port WinFAX Pro uses. WFXRCV can be called from a macro to turn Auto- Receive off, and then from another to turn it back on, say after an auto-dialer has completed. 2) As the "sandwich bread" around another program that requires the same serial port WinFAX Pro uses. When WFXRCV is run, it will disable WinFAX auto receive, launch the application specified on the WFXRCV command line, wait until it is finished, and then re-enable WinFAX auto receive. If WinFAX is not running when you run WFXRCV, the command line will simply be executed. INSTALLATION ============================================================= Run INSTALL.EXE to install WFXRCV. Install will decompress WFXRCV and copy it to the specified directory. It is recommended that you install WFXRCV to your Windows directory or another directory on your path.
