Please register FlashPoint Windows products if you intend to use them.  

If you are a registered user of a competitive product or utility you 
may qualify for a competive upgrade at a discounted cost, please see
DISCOUNT.TXT.  Also read DISCOUNT.TXT if you are registering on or
before December 31, 1994.

Instructions. on how to use CompuServe's online software registration
service, are intended for Compuserve users who DO NOT qualify for any
discount available in DISCOUNT.TXT, or who prefer registering via that
service.

	Instructions on CompuServe Online Registration Service
	------------------------------------------------------

On Compuserve type GO SWREG, and follow the displayed instructions to
register the product.

Currently FlashPoint Windows ZIP Navigator (ZipNAV) may be registered
on CompuServe, by registering FlashPoint ZIP Tools for Windows, using

		CIS REGISTRATION ID NO. 1789

In the upcoming weeks, the FlashPoint ZIP Tools for Windows online
description will be updated to reflect the new product name.

Upon notification by CompuServe, FlashPoint will provide you with your 
authorized user name and registration number, if any, necessary to
disable unregistered copy information and unlock any registered user
features contained in your copy of the shareware distribution program.

The cost of registering via Compuserve is slightly higher than direct
registration with FlashPoint, and, no discounts (see DISCOUNT.TXT) are 
available.  This is due to the fact that the convience of registering
through Compuserve causes us to incur some increased costs.

CompuServe is one of the few services that charge us for incomming mail
and all incoming mail from outside services is rejected.  You should 
direct such mail to one of the above Internet addresses ONLY!

As indicated in the previous paragraph, our CompuServe account is 
reserved for CompuServe customers only.  Currently Richard Patterson
and FlashPoint Development may be reached on Compuserve at 70771,1336;
however, this account may be discontinued in the near future as a
result of litigation involving CompuServe's and certain of its officers'
conduct, originally arising out of CompuServe's unauthorized use of a 
FlashPoint product trademark.  The referenced CompuServe dispute and
litigation are not related to this product, other than causing a six
month delay in its public release.
