SNAPBIND 1.0 Snapbind.exe is a DOS executable which takes a picture of the specified users bindery information. This is particularly useful to record new network accounts and record accounts prior to deletion. Snapbind's command line format is SNAPBIND (USERID) (OUTPUT) USERID must be a valid userid in the system bindery. An * can be used in the USERID on the command line. snapbind * will display information on all users in your bindery. snapbind ch* will display information on all users in your bindery beginning with the letters 'ch'. OUTPUT is optional if not specified output is to the stdout or the screen. if specified output can be either a filename or LPT port. Other Network products may place properties in various bindery objects. Many of those SNAPBIND can not understand. Property values snapbind does not understand is displayed in 3 formats (Ascii, Decimal and Hex). Note only ASCII characters between 'a'-'z' and 'A'-'Z' are displayed other characters may unpredictable results when displayed or printed so they are displayed as an '*'. The properties show above are as follows : USER User ID GROUPS_IM_IN Groups belonged to SECURITY_EQUALS Security Equivalence LOGIN_CONTROL Account Expiration date Date account expires 0 means none Account Disabled YES / NO if account is disabled Grace Logins Number of grace logins 255 max Password Expiration Interval Number of days between required password changes. 0 menas no changes required. Minimum Password Length Minimum password length Maximum Concurrent connections Maximum number of times the same user can be logged on simultaneously Time Restrictions When a user can be logged on.
