 If you are installing this game for the first time follow the sysop.doc...

 There are too many bugs that we fixed in this version and to many new 
 editions to even begin to mention. HOWEVER, the most important is that
 YOU MUST start from a clean slate in this version.
 
 [1] Cleaned up the [P]ost a note editor and added Word Wrap and other.
 [2] Added 18 different shields.
 [3] Added get a job function.
 [4] Added new command line switch (/PG18)
 [5] <enter> hot key from most any menu will now exit the menu.
 [6] Added Spinning cursor.
 [7] Added Total Kills and Runaways.
 [8] Added comma's to 4 or more digit numbers.
 [9] No longer case sensitive when playing local and entering sysop name.
 [10] Added automatic ansi detect and made it sysop configurable.
 [11] Raised the max number of healings from 200 to 1000.
 [12] Changed the level to level values. (softened up the game)
 [13] Added a ton of color to the attack screens and prompts.
 [14] added the number of levels to the end of the game, in the Training >Request
      a level. The game will now tell the user how many more levels.
 [15] Changed the way "Todays News" file(TNEWS.TXT) is written to. This should
      cut down on the problems that the multi-nodes were having. 
 [16] Added color to the maintainance program.
 [17] Fixed the problem with Y&R locking up when callers drop carrier while
      in the door.
 [18] The Sewer Lid is now Sysop configurable. Number of random times that a
      caller will stumble on it can be set in the YANKRED.CFG file.

 Start a new directory and copy all the files from the archive into it. 

 To put this in other terms: ERASE the old game or leave game running and
                             start a new game(use different directory)!

 Run NEWEDIT.EXE and make the configuration file or just edit(with a text 
 editor) the SAMPLE.CFG which should be then RENAMED to YANKRED.CFG. The
 sample.cfg is a commented file.

 If you are having a problem finding a command line that will work with your
 system try using the following command line with a fossil loaded such as BNU
 or X00:
                 YANKRED F- [switches] 

 See the SYSOP.DOC for more info on switches. These are different for each
 BBS type.

 Thats about it.  Use YANKRED /L for local logons.
