Welcome to AuditTrack for NetWare - Access and Security Auditing.

This file contains information about AuditTrack for NetWare
that is not included in the User Manual.  Please read this file 
thoroughly before you install or use AuditTrack.

Novell NetWare Operating Systems
------------------------------------
AuditTrack is compatible with NetWare 3.11, 3.12 and 4.0x.

Central Point Anti-Virus for NetWare
------------------------------------
If you are using Central Point Anti-Virus for NetWare you must load it  
BEFORE you load AuditTrack.

If you need to unload the Anti-Virus modules make sure you unload AuditTrack
first and reload it after the Anti-Virus is unloaded.

McAfee Anti-Virus for NetWare
-----------------------------
If you are using McAfee Anti-Virus for NetWare you must load it BEFORE you load 
AuditTrack.
It is also recommened you upgrade the NetWare CLIB to version 3.12g or newer.
If you need to unload the Anti-Virus modules make sure you unload AuditTrack
first and reload it after the Anti-Virus is unloaded.

Brightworks/McAfee SiteMeter for NetWare
----------------------------------------
If you are using SiteMeter for NetWare you must load it BEFORE you load 
AuditTrack.
It is also recommened you upgrade the NetWare CLIB to version 3.12g or newer.
If you need to unload the SiteMeter modules make sure you unload AuditTrack
first and reload it after the SiteMeter is unloaded.


Norton Anti-Virus for NetWare
-----------------------------
If you are using Norton Anti-Virus for NetWare you MUST load it BEFORE you load 
AuditTrack.
If you need to unload the Anti-Virus modules make sure you unload AuditTrack
first and reload it after Norton Anti-Virus is unloaded.

**WARNING**
Due to a bug in Norton AntiVirus, NAV will ABEND the server if it is loaded
after any NLM (including AuditTrack) that uses file hooking or the Novell
FSMON hooks!

Cheyenne Inoculan Anti-Virus for NetWare
----------------------------------------
If you are using Inoculan Anti-Virus for NetWare you must load it  
BEFORE you load AuditTrack.

If you need to unload the Anti-Virus modules make sure you unload AuditTrack
first and reload it after the Anti-Virus is unloaded.

Other Anti-Virus (NLM products)
-------------------------------
It is highly recommened you upgrade the NetWare CLIB to version 3.12g or 
newer to prevent the Anti-Virus product from hooking the Operating System.
If you are using an older version of CLIB and need to unload the Anti-Virus 
modules make sure you unload AuditTrack first and reload it after the 
Anti-Virus is unloaded.


Cheyenne ArcServe for NetWare
-----------------------------
If you are using Cheyenne ArcServe for NetWare it is recommened you load 
it BEFORE you load AuditTrack.
