*** GetFit v5.4 *** REQUIREMENTS: GetFit v5.4 requires Windows 3.X. DESCRIPTION: GetFit is a program which helps you arrive at a 'Target-Weight' based on Sex & height input, then calculates your fat intake & calorie intake to reach your goal, and keeps track of daily progress. NOT intended for use by people with serious obesity and/or health problems. Does NOT track sodium or Cholesterol although Cholesterol is normally low in low-fat foods. There is calorie/fat data included for over 300 foods as well as data for about 100 activities which burn calories to help you calculate your intake and output. Easy to use (pull-down menu) interface is mouse-oriented and internal help is available for all functions. LIMITATIONS: Program will not function with users whose weight exceeds 500 Lbs. There are also limits on Fat intake per day (999 grams), Calorie intake and output (10000) and other numeric data, but we feel that these limits are more than sufficient for all but VERY rare uses. Program advises when limits are exceeded. Any number of users may use the program as it uses a seperate data file for each user. A maximum of 500 days may be tracked by each data file, and the registered version allows a maximum of 500 food value entries. You may have any number of data files. *NEW with this version is a Recipe module. A few recipes are included, but you can also add your own and then search/edit them by various search criteria. This unregistered version limits you to 25 recipes, the registered version allows up to 1000, and has more included with it. REGISTRATION: Registrants are sent an upgraded version which also allows Adding/Deleting or Editing the food list up to 800 entries. It also has hot-key combinations for many functions and allows up to 1000 recipes. Other new features and improvements as well as any new data we feel is suitable. See Registration info within program or print INVOICE.DOC. INSTALLATION: There is an easy to use installation program distributed with GetFit called INSTY. Insty will copy the needed files to either the default destination drive/directory, or one you select. *NOTE*: The file VBRUN200.DLL which is included MUST be placed in the same directory as your Windows program. The default directory is C:\WINDOWS which should be correct for 99% of users, if your Windows program is in a different location, input the correct directory name when prompted. *You must also have the file THREED.VBX in your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory as some 3-D buttons have been used in new modules. INSTY will also set up GetFit in Windows for you if you choose yes at the prompt to do so. If INSTY sets up Windows it will create a new program group called Fitness and install GetFit there. INSTY may be started from DOS by typing INSTY or may be run from Windows Program manager by selecting RUN from the menu and then inputting the correct drive/directory where INSTY is, and INSTY.EXE. FILES: You should have the following files with your program: GetFit.EXE (Main Program) WGetFit.HLP (Help and information file) FOOD.DAT (Food Calorie and Fat data) CALORIE.DAT (Calorie Burn rates) INVOICE.DOC (Invoice to register GetFit) README.TXT (This text-file) README.COM (Text-file in .COM format) WINSTY.EXE (Windows setup program) INSTY.INI (Initialization file for INSTY) RECIPE.DAT (Recipe database file) VBRUN200.DLL (Windows run-time file) THREED.VBX (3-D visual file) (MUST be installed where Windows is) (The following NOT installed) INSTY.EXE (Installation program) FILE-ID.DIZ (Program description for BBS's) For further information: Eric Jarrett P.O.
