The easiest possible installation for a Windows program
--------------------------------------------------------
To install MFTC:  Mutual Fund Tax Calculator, simply copy all files in
this package to a directory of your choosing; we suggest creating a new
directory named \MFTC.  The MFTC package should be placed in a directory
of its own (rather than being commingled with other files or programs in
the same directory).

You may then launch the program from a file manager by double-clicking on
MFTC.EXE.  You may also create a new program item for MFTC in any desired
program group, specifying the pathname to MFTC.EXE as the command line, as
well as indicating the same directory as the working directory (required).
The program's icon is contained within MFTC.EXE and may be specified as
the displayed icon.  You may then double-click on the program's icon to
launch MFTC.

The online documentation may be read after launching MFTC by selecting the
Documentation menu item on the main program screen, or by pressing <F1>.
