LICENSE AGREEMENT By installing the Arbor Verde Press program "The Constitution of the United States" (hereafter referred to as "The Software"), you agree to the following: You may evaluate the shareware version of The Software for 30 days without obligation. If after that time you decide to keep the The Software on your computer and continue using it, you should register it by sending $15.00 US (check or money order -- do not mail cash) to Arbor Verde Press at PO Box 5107, Tucson, AZ. You will receive a printed copy of the file, a disk with the latest version (3.5" only), and our gratitude. After you register program, you may download from bulletin boards or obtain from shareware vendors any future versions or updates of The Software without any additional registration obligation. The remaining terms apply both to the shareware version of The Software and to registered or retail versions of The Software. You agree that The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Arbor Verde Press disclaims all warranties, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall Arbor Verde Press be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information, or any other other loss) arising out of the use of or inability to use the software, even if Arbor Verde Press has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Because some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, the above limitation may not apply to you. You may NOT subsume the The Software into a program of your own for (re)distribution. The Software is copyrighted and all rights are reserved. If you want to include The Software in or as part of another program, please contact Arbor Verde Press to arrange separate licensing agreements. You may, however, freely distribute the shareware version of The Software, intact with all files, notices, and installation routines unmodified, and you may write programs that call into or trigger The Software as long as such programs are not bundled with The Software in such a manner as to disguise, hinder, impede or otherwise inhibit the end user from knowing, understanding and abiding by the terms of this agreement. Certain portions of The Software and its installation routines are Copyright (C) 1994 by Wextech, Inc. and certain portions of The Software and its installation routines are Copyright (C) 1994 by Stirling Technologies Inc. No files or parts of the files that comprise The Software may be unbundled and distributed separately. The freely distributable shareware version of The Software is defined to consist of the following files: SETUP.EXE SETUP.INS DATA.1 D2HLINK.DL_ INS0762.LIB FILE_ID.DIZ SETUP.PKG README.TXT ORDERFRM.TXT LICENSE.TXT Vendors may distribute these files on an installation disk or may compress these files into an archive file and store them on disk, electronic bulletin board system or commercial on-line service. Vendors may charge a reasonable and customary fee for disk copying or bbs/on- line service access. Vendors must not disguise the shareware nature of The Software and must distribute all listed files intact and unmodified. Files which may not be (re)distributed either by end users or vendors are: Files extracted to the destination drive by the setup routine, including: CONSTI.HLP CONSTI.DHN D2HNAV.EXE D2HLINK.DLL D2HTOOLS.DLL MSOUTLIN.VBX D2HNAV.HLP Files included in the PRGFILES or BITMAPS subdirectory of a registered or retail version installation disk including: CONSTI.RTF CNTXTMAP.TXT CNTXTMAP.XLS CONSTI.HPJ HELP0001.BMP The files stored in the PRGFILES subdirectory of a registered or retail version are included for those interested in constructing their own help files, and for those interested in calling into The Software from their own programs. A copy of the Microsoft Help Compiler, Microsoft Word version 6.0, and a registered version of Wextech Systems, Inc. Doc-To- Help, available separately from the respective companies, are required to compile the file as is. Any text editor capable of importing rich text format can be used to read, or modify the RTF file for standalone compilation. Arbor Verde Press does not offer programming support or additional instructions on using the map, project or rtf files in your own programs. The Software was created using Wextech Systems, Inc. Doc-To-Help program and some files are distributed under license from Wextech Systems, Inc or sublicense from Stirling Technologies Inc. For information on those products, contact Wextech Systems, Inc. at 212-949-9595. The Software was compiled for use under the Windows(tm) operating system using the Microsoft Help Compiler. For information on that product, contact Microsoft, Inc. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.
