/  Welcome to the Adaptec EZ-SCSI Upgrade program.  This program will       \
/  update old versions of Adaptec ASPI Managers and device drivers with     \
/  the device drivers contained in EZ-SCSI 3.11.                            \

/  To upgrade, type:                                                        \

/        UPDATE  C:\SCSI  C:\WINDOWS                                       \

/  where:                                                                   \
/        C:\SCSI    => is the location of your previous Adaptec software    \
/                      installation.                                        \
/                                                                           \
/        C:\WINDOWS => is the location of your Windows installation.        \
/                                                                           \
/  If you do not specify a WINDOWS directory at the time you run the        \
/  upgrade program, your ASPI Managers and all other files listed below     \
/  (with the exception of the two files which make up the ASPI for          \
/  Windows interface (VASPID.386 and WINASPI.DLL) and the 32-Bit Disk       \
/  Access drivers) will still be upgraded in your C:\SCSI directory.        \

/  However, in order to upgrade the ASPI for Windows interface drivers      \
/  you will need to run this program again, indicating the proper WINDOWS   \
/  directory for your system.                                               \
/                                                                           \
/  The EZ-SCSI 3.11 README.TXT will be copied to your \SCSI directory.      \
/  This file contains special information regarding the 32-Bit Disk Access  \
/  driver as well as the latest SCSI CD-ROM and Tape drive compatibility    \
/  listing for EZ-SCSI.                                                     \

/  If you wish to undo the upgrade patch, you will find a file named        \
/  UNPATCH.BAK in the C:\SCSI\OLDSYS directory. Rename this file            \
/  to "UNPATCH.BAT" and run the file.                                       \
