LTREBLD.EXE - a utility to rebuild the LANtastic folder and icons on the desktop. MAKESTRT.EXE - a utility to create a STARTUP.CMD file that sets up your network connections. OS2UTL.TXT - ths text file. Note that the EXE files in this archive are also archives, and must be unpacked before using them. Date: Mar 31th, 1995 Purpose: To resolve the following issues problem reports: **************************************************************************** Problem Report Number: T08700 There is no easy way to create a set of LANtastic boot disks for use with OS/2. Problem Report Number: T08701 After accidentally deleting the LANtastic folder from the Desktop, it is necessary to completely reinstall LANtastic for OS/2 to get the folder back. Problem Report Number: T08702 It would be convenient to be able to build a STARTUP.CMD batch file based on the connections contained in the LANTASTIC.INI file. **************************************************************************** RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: **************************************************************************** 1. Unpack OS2UTL.EXE in a temporary directory on your OS/2 machine by typing the command OS2UTL. 2. Determine which utilities you are interested in using. 3. Unpack the associated utility file by typing the name of the utility (i.e. LTBOOT). 4. Follow the directions in the .TXT file in the utility package.
