How to setup Terminal Velocity to run under OS/2 The setting in the tvos2.set file operate on the three computers that I have tried them on I can not garantee that they will work on yours. 1. To set up Terminal Velocity (TV) to run under OS/2 you must open a dos window or full screen session and install TV. 2. Then copy the tvos2.set and tvos2.ico files to the directory that you installed TV into. 3. Go to the OS/2 desktop and drag a program template from the template folder. 4. Enter D:\tv\tv.exe where D is the drive that you installed TV to and \tv\ is the directory path. 5. Enter D:\tv as above 6. Go to the Session setting page of the setting notebook(second page) and chose Dos Fullscreen 7. Click on the Dos Settings Button on that page and then on the OK button an the box that pops up. 8. Then you will have the screen that allows you to change the settings. Click on the LOAD button. 9. Enter d:\tv\tvos2.set in the dialog box and click on the load button. This will adjust the setting and take you back to the dos setting screen. 10. Click on the SAVE button. 11. Then click on the General tab of the note book. Now you will be able to set the name that you want on the Screen Icon. Enter "Terminal Velocity" without the quotes in the box that defaulted to the word "Program" 12. Next you can change the Icon. Click on the Find Button that is beside the default Dos Fullscreen Icon. Then on the Locate button on the popup. Next click on the path tab and enter d:\tv and then click on the ok button this will search for Icons in the TV directory. Then Click on the find button, this will display the Icons in the TV directory and let you choose. 13. Choose the tvos2.ico icon and the click the ok button. This will load your Icon on to the desktop. 14. Now double click on the icon on the upper left of the setting notebook and move your icon where you want it. It is now ready to play. There are a few spots that it seems to run quite slowly but mostly on the intro screens aand the story screen that comes up takes a long time but as long as the noise continues intermitantly just wait it will get past. Once you get into the game it run at a pretty good speed.
