ÚÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ¿ ³ HISTORY ³ ÀÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÙ I bought Microsoft's Quick C compiler to write this one program because it was not available anywhere. I read the manuals and learned the rudiments of C programming - just enough to write this one program. When I got to the fourth revision (v1.04) of the original prototype, I actually started using it myself in my batch files. I released version 1.05 to my small circle of friends, got their feedback on it, and proceeded to create the more compactly coded version 1.06 for public release, which featured filespec parsing of command line items. Version 1.07 is a more compact version of 1.06 (down to 17k from 29k), does NOT write a data input file to your disk and features a default help screen if no command line parameters are specified. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Due to an oversight that resulted in major incompatibility problem, I had to compile PICK v1.07 revision "b." Make that TWO oversights, and now we're on revision "c" - how embarrassing! Guess I should have run my revisions past my beta-testers, huh? --------------------------------------------------------------------------
