Welcome to WideOpen.  WideOpen is a shareware application that
lets you advantage of many of the new features of Windows 95 
in your existing 16-bit applications.

It does this by seamlessly replacing the Open and SaveAs dialogs of a 
growing list of popular applications with the new Windows 95 dialogs.  
In addition to long file names, you also get shortcuts, document icons, 
and many other features of Windows 95.  

WideOpen provides simple installation and de-installation, 
and is available for a low registration fee.  There are currently 
registered versions available for Word 6, Excel 5, and Ami Pro 3
(with more applications to come.)  The trial version of WideOpen 
includes support for Word 6 and is intended for a limited-time 
evaluation before registering.  

To install the WideOpen for Word 6, simply open WIDEOPEN.DOC and
follow the instructions there.

You may freely distribute the Word version of WideOpen in its
complete form.
