Welcome to Inspire Remora, the Event Reminder, Calendar, and Program Scheduler
all in one. It provides many features including:

* Events are shown once a day at bootup, or through the main program;
* Events can be scheduled as Weekly, Monthly, Special Monthly, and Yearly;
* A user defined warning period of the events occurance;
* Old and past events are deleted automatically, optional being saved to a 
  file;
* Scheduled programs are run after a user specified period(in days) at bootup
  (eg. Virus Scans, Defrag,...);
* A useful calendar display that is colour coded for easy entering and view 
  of events;
* Old events are automatically removed, and optionally saved to a text file;
* Can read EAZY for DOS *.CAL files and can work concurrently with it on 
  a dual boot system (limitations exist however);
* Events can be given special type flags, and also can have a duration time 
  (days);
* Plus more!


Limit of Liability

Inspire Remora is distributed as-is. The author disclaims all warranties, 
expressed or implied. The author will assume no liability for damages either 
from the direct use of this product or as a consequence of use of this 
program.


Distibution
===========

Inspire Remora is SHAREWARE and therefore you may use this product for 30 days
before you legally must register. Registration not only assures this product 
is constantly kept up-to-date but also includes special benefits. If you like
this program please pass it on to others.

Quick Installation
==================

Copy the files from the archive to a directory. Then type "INSTALL" in that
directory (to execute the 'INSTALL.CMD' REXX-Script).

If after 30-days you decide that you won't register Inspire Remora then a 
uninstall script is included. Just run "UNINSTAL" from the REMORA directory.

Note! Inspire Remora reminds of events at bootup, therefore a Program Object
is installed into the startup folder. If you wish not to be told of events at 
bootup then delete the icon from the "Startup" folder (found in the "OS/2 
System" folder).


NOTES ABOUT VERSIONS 
====================

* A DOS Version is available under the name "EAZY341.ZIP" which can be
  found on the internet at the Simtel archives (look on archie.au, etc).

* No Windows Version is planned as it cannot provide some of the features 
  and stability that OS/2 can. However I am flexible and will consider any
  viable options.
