   Vulcan is home to some of the greatest minds in Starfleet history.
   Housing the immense Vulcan Interstellar Center for Knowledge,
   the planet is a prime source for information on all races,
   planets, ships, and weaponry in the galaxy.

   Rumor has it that those who set foot upon Vulcan's soil almost
   become smarter.  This certainly holds true for the few humans
   who have braved Vulcan's higher gravity and less oxygen-rich
   air to test the theory.  Many visitors to the planet arrive to
   seek out answers to puzzling questions.
