README.TXT for ENVELOGO for OS/2 Create a directory for ENVELOGO for OS/2. If you have the ENVELOGO files in their uncompressed form, copy them all into this directory. If you have a zipped file containing the ENVELOGO for OS/2 files, copy the zipped file into it. Now you can unzip the file. (If it is a self-extracting EXE file, just run it.) Documentation for ENVELOGO for OS/2 is contained in the file ENVELOGO.INF. To see the documentation in the simplest way, from an OS/2 window, change to the ENVELOGO directory and type VIEW ENVELOGO. The documentation will appear, and may be printed out if desired. Of course, you may wish to add an ENVELOGO icon to your "Information" folder for future reference. An installation program is provided to install ENVELOGO with an icon on the desktop which is linked to the help file (See the Installation section of the documentation). THE MOST IMPORTANT THING that YOU must attend to is creating your own custom envelope templates! Some test template files are provided (see documentation). In addition, you will find a file named QWKTEMP.TXT. With OS/2 2.1, you can create a respectable template file with a graphic logo using only the applets which come with OS/2 2.1. QWKTEMP.TXT describes step-by-step how one can create a quick and dirty template file.
