Hello, and thanks for trying Dialog Wrapper! You probably got Dialog Wrapper as part of a .ZIP file called DLGWRP.ZIP. You should have gotten four files as part of this package: READTHIS.TXT this file DLGWRAP.DLL the actual Dialog Wrapper function library COMMDLG.DLL the Common Dialog function library. You may already have another copy of this; if so, use whichever one's most recent. DLGWRAP.DOC the documentation for Dialog Wrapper, in Word for Windows format If you don't have all four, contact the author (see below) or download the DLGWRP.ZIP from Compuserve. Dialog Wrapper is a library of functions designed to be used from within Word for Windows macros (although they could actually be used from elsewhere in the Windows environment, as well). Their purpose is to give your Word for Windows macros access to the file-oriented functions in COMMDLG.DLL. DLGWRAP.DOC contains full instructions and numerous examples. If this sounds useful, but you don't use Word for Windows and can't con- vert DLGWRAP.DOC into a form that's any good to you, contact the author - if it can be done at all reasonably, we'll get you converted documentation. To see an example of Dialog Wrapper, fire up Word for Windows, load DLGWRAP.DOC, and run the macro called "FileDelete." Do this either from the "Tools/Macro" menu, or by selecting "File Delete" on the "File" menu. To install Dialog Wrapper on your system, copy DLGWRAP.DLL to your Windows System directory (probably "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM." Also copy COMMDLG.DLL if you don't already have it, or if your copy is older than the one included with Dialog Wrapper.
