v1.05 - Released September 14th, 1993 þ CallID now supports a rejection file. You can restrict access by the phone number - even before the users gets to the first prompt. Suggestion by Mark R. Williamson. þ The unregistered version delay was causing strange hangups. Fixed. v1.04 - Limited release þ Sometimes - once in a decade - CallID wouldn't be able to work at all. Memory corruption it seems, but - fixed. Thanks to Mark R. Williamson for the report. v1.02 to v1.03 Beta versions. þ CallID has some trouble identifying some strings when they apppear in a specific order. Reported by Jean Paul Dumas - Fixed. þ CallID was creating a file called NOPHONE.DAT when the phone number was blocked by the user. Only the PRIVATE.DAT file should have been written. Fixed. v1.01 - Beta version þ SupraFAX modems are reporting the Caller*ID information in hexadecimal, depending on ROM revisions it seems. (Reported by Mark Kraml). CallID now supports hex output. v1.00 - Released February 15th, 1993 First official - public - release of CallID! v0.01 to v0.14 Intermediate versions. CallID has changed *a lot*: þ Faster 0 and I mean it! þ Works under DESQview þ Supports BIOS writes at will þ Supports all mailers, present and future (log format) þ Supports all modems, present and future (log format) þ Allows Sysop to restrict the login procedure to the user name þ Allows users to block the password-poking feature. þ New - and quicker - interface þ Screen display can now be disabled to gain more speed þ The calling procedure has changed. Instead of relying on a MECCA script as others, CallID uses an evironment variable. This method is safer, faster and fool-proof until now. þ The documentation is almost complete for v1.00. Jean Paul Dumas looks satisfied with the current beta (v0.11), I can't wait 'til he sees the latest (v0.14). I've been able to cut the execution time in half.. again! v0.00 - (closed beta) Released January 25th, 1993 Initial version. It works, but it's quite slow and not flexible enough for us. I don't like the MECCA method for shelling to CallID, and Jean Paul Dumas doesn't either..
