My name is Susana Emberg, and I am half the SysOp Team for a pretty graphics-oriented bbs called The NightLife BBS in Oregon. When we heard there was a chance that Spitfire would be supporting RIP graphics sometime in the future, we decided to get a head start learning this new format, and grabbed a copy of everything RIP we could, and started experimenting. Weeks before the new version of SF with RIP was released, we had almost every possible RIP screen thst SF would support all ready. Lately, we have heard from a LOT of sysops that they just don't have the time to do RIP for their bbs, or that none of the programs will run on their machines, or they are just not happy with the quality of the RIP screens they make themselves. We have also gotten a lot of compliments on our RIP. Well, hopefully, for some, this is the answer. I spent a couple of weeks making a whole set of screens that I could alter for ANY SpitFire bbs. Enclosed in this package are samples of various types of screens you could have for YOUR bbs, in matched sets, or mix and match. I am not offering to do these for free, although I wish I could. I am offering to do a set of screens for your bbs for a reasonable price. Even with the easily alterable screens I have set aside for this project, it will still probably take me an entire afternoon to do these screens for your bbs, and I have a regular job, So I have to save SOME time for a "Social" life (Gee, what bbs can I download one of those from?). But because I can do, in an afternoon, what would take most folks days, weeks, or months to do (our first set of RIP for our main board literally took months of work), and because I LOVE the beautiful graphics a bbs that supports RIP can have, I am looking forward to doing more for more folks. Now, for some specifics. The Price for a RIPFire package is $25.00. Most of you will pay that much to register a game or two. And the package I am making for you will be totally specific for your bbs. No one will have screens just like yours. You will tell me the "phase" of screens you like for each menu, and will choose various text, background, button, etc, colors, and I will take it from there. Your screens will be BBS ready in 1-2 weeks, depending on the workload I have when I receive your order. They will have HighLighted HotKeys, and all the buttons will reset graphics windows.
