RIPGRAF UPDATES NOTE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This archive contains the updated RIPGRAF executable along with any other files changed from the last complete release (version 0.70). If you do not have the full release version, then you will be missing out on some important files (the fonts and documents). Never heard of RIPGRAF before? Well, it is a program used for creating RIPscrip files. RIPscrip is a telecommunications graphics language / protocol which is becoming popular among IBM BBS users and sysops. Several people are working on Amiga RIPTERM's (both stand-alone and as XEM library extensions) as well I know of one BBS software program which will soon offer complete RIP support (including a full graphical local sysop console). The release dates for all of the above are (what else) real soon now. ;) RIPGRAF is a Shareware program, if you like it please register! Registration information can be found in the full release (RIPGRF70.LHA) or by contacting me. Michael Nelson 76 Olympus Ct #59 Sarnia, Ontario CANADA N7S 4S7 BBS: (519)542-6788 Internet: M.NELSON34@GENIE.GEIS.COM = RIPGRAF History ======================================================== VERSION 0.70 January 25, 1994 Added structured editing. Read the RIPGRAF.DOC for information on how to use this *GREAT* NEW feature. Some aspects of structured editing are not available to unregistered users (unless you have a pirated keyfile, no conscience and a desire to kill off Amiga shareware) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- VERSION 0.61f UPDATE January 8, 1994 Added a new tool type DISPLAY - Set to either NTSC, PAL or remove to get your default display. (NTSC is recommended) Fixes problem one Amiga 500 user was having. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- VERSION 0.61e UPDATE December 23, 1993 Fixed the Text Window command. You should reload any files which made use of the text window, resize it back to the position you want, and save it. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- VERSION 0.61d UPDATE December 17, 1993 Fixed a bug that locked up the computer when "quit" was selected. (Thanks to Mike Moon for reporting this) Re-arranged the tool bar a little. The square and polygon gadgets have been combined into a single "sub" tool bar. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- VERSION 0.61c UPDATE December 13, 1993 Added 2 tooltypes: EOL= Should be set to AMIGA (uppercase) if you want the program to only use LF's as the End Of Line character. Anything else will give you a LF/CR pair (like earlier versions of the program used) INITCMDS= Set this to the initial command written to your ripscrip files The default is "|1K|*" which kills all mouse fields and clears the text and graphic windows NOTE: Tool Types can be changed by clicking on the RIPGRAF icon and selecting Icons/Information... from workbench. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- VERSION 0.61b UPDATE December 11, 1993 Fixes a bug with the RIP_TEXT_XY. The program was (sometimes) adding a line wrap character "\" at the END of the text string, causing part of the next command on following line to be used as part of that string. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- VERSION 0.61 UPDATE December 8, 1993 This version fixes a problem people were having getting the IBM RIPTERM to understand the button commands. RIPGRAF used to write "splits" in the middle of host commands and RIPTERM had trouble understanding them. The program will now check to see if there is enough room to write a complete button command on the line, and will start on a new line if there wasn't. (thanks to Daniel Bateman sysop of the BUSHMASTER BBS, Colorada for reporting this) The second bug fixes a problem with the tool bar colors, pattern, and line thickness gadgets not showing the correct settings (which would happen after a load or an undo). (Thanks to Tom Dietz for reporting this) Update info ~~~~~~~~~~~ This is just the executable for ripgraf, an update to the recently release version 0.60. You need the support files included in the version 0.60 release, the archive should be called RIPGRF60.LHA, you can download it from my support BBS at (519)542-6788 (300-9600 baud).
