This RIP screen of a Spitfire is something I threw together after seeing 
someone else's screen of what was supposed to be a Spitfire.  That artist's
job looked nice, but was not a Spitfire.

As perhaps the only Spitfire BBS SysOp who has ever actually been in a 
Spitfire, I decided to try to throw something together.  I understand 
Spitfire BBS author Mike Woltz was not thinking of the WWII fighter when
he chose the name, but it is appropriate anyway - as the Spitfire was the
finest fighter aircraft of its era - just as Spitfire BBS is the finest
BBS package available today.

My thanks to Mike Woltz for writing the software, to his wife Ann for
being patient during my calls to him when he was off at work, and to the
users of Enchanted Forest BBS - who have supported my Spitfire BBS.

Anyone wishing to use or modify this screen is welcome to do so, but I
would ask that if you come up with a nice modification of the screen, you
consider uploading it to me.
