This .MDM file is presently set up for COMM 2, and initialized at 19,200. If you are using the External ZOOM 14.4 without any 16550 UART chips on your I/O card, you will need to initialize no greater than the 19,200. If you are using the Internal ZOOM 14.4 or have 16550 UART chips on your I/O card, you can initialize the modem as high as 57,600. Use this .MDM file with MakeWild on the Modem Configuration Settings screen 1 and then change to the proper comm port for your set-up and the proper initialization speed for the equipment that you are running. If you purchased the ZOOM 14.4 modem from me, your modem has already been initialized for proper use with your WildCat system and instructions were given to you at the time of purchase. If you purchased the ZOOM modem from some other source, I am sure that they will be happy to give the same support and service that I do and deliver your modem ready to Plug-&-Play.
