ATTENTION VENDORS TO THE BBS COMMUNITY:

The enclosed file, NABBS1.TXT, is a draft proposal for the formation of a trade association for the Bulletin Board owner and vendor Community.  It is being distributed to gather feedback on the level of interest and motivation of the community to support it.  

Although you are small in numbers compared to the number of BBS's you supply, your interest and support will be critical to the success of this group.  You are the only practical group that can provide the energy, initial funding, and initial infrastructure to help launch this group, should the Sysops respond that they want it.  

I wish that I had the time to call and discuss this with each of you personally before you get this, but that is impossible.  Hopefully you will have heard of it by now and will give us your attention.

Please read this carefully and give us your feedback.  Instructions how are in the proposal.

In addition, please help us by distributing this file to all other vendors that you know who service BBS owners. 

I see the continued growth and success of this industry as critical to your own interests so hope you will view this as a positive step and volunteer to help.
