MODEM.BSC Modem.bsc is a boyan script that will set your modem. If you have a modem that supports MNP, you can run the MNP check, to see if your setup is correctly configured for MNP operations. To use this program, all that you need to do is to place modem.bsc is your script directory. From the terminal mode, hit ALT-R and then (this is assuming that nothing appeared on the status line). If something appeared on the status line, clear the line with the delete key and then hit enter. This should load the file manager with the script directory on the screen. Highlight the MODEM.bsc file and hit enter. This will start the modem.bsc script file. There are about 75 different modem configurations available. Hopefully your is contained here. If it's not, if you could forward the modem name and specifications to me, I will gladly add it. If you have a Hayes clone modem, you should be able to use the Generic setup. If the settings for your modem don't work correctly, you should be able to reset the modem to its factory defaults by entering AT&F. This is also contained on the last page of the modem setup.
