Enclosed is the latest available version of the Backmail shareware program
I could find anywear (which took a call to Canada and then to California
in order to achieve). The source of the sofwtare is still alive and well
and they also produce a commercial version of Backmail that is sold to
corporations (I have no interest in this myself).
 
Anyway, Wonderland BBS is shutting down, for a variety of reasons, but I
am setting up a BACKMAIL networking setup for people interested in the
exchange of files and letters using this software. The number will be:
617-965-3036 and the Backmail will be available here 24 hours for the
passing of files and letters to us. We will also be making such files and
letters available to others as requested and basically going more into
distribution then we did with the BBS system.
 
If you wish to use this service please let us know. We will be distributing
new software thru this service, and Backmail basically lets things be done
at your convience timing-wise as well as allow us access to our machine for
other tasks besides telecommunications.
 
ARJ file comrpession support will be continued this way, as will the
collection and distribution of the Pagan Information Network File Library,
our new Virtual Book Collection and Distribution and other useful new
programs. Our system operates at 2400 baud.
 
Remember you MUST use backmail to connect to this service! You cannot use
any other communications system to do so. Backmail is small and only takes
30K of RAM while operating, making it a fantastic space saver.
 
After your first connection with us thru Backmail I will send along a finle
FILE (Sorry) list of what is currently avaialable and notify you of updates
to this list as they arrive.
