The documentation should be self explanatory but a brief word about
STARDIAL may be helpful. STARDIAL is a standalone autodialer for users
of the Starlink system. FYI, the Starlink system is Tymnets answer to
PCPursuit, a low cost packet switching service. There are many ex-PCP
users who have switched to Starlink. This created a need for an easy way
to handle all the dialing codes and id#'s that are required by the major
networks. Thus STARDIAL was developed. It will completely automate the
dialing process. With the exception of up/download capability 'built-in'
Stardial is a complete package. It does not need anything else to run.

The CVTSTAR program is a conversion utility for those people who have
an earlier version of Stardial. The dialing directory has a new format
and they are NOT compatible.

The evaluation (unregistered) version has an opening screen with a tiny
delay and the dialing directory is limited to 20 entries. The multiple
directory feature is still functional however. Upon registration, the
user will get the registered version without the opening screen and the
dialing directory can have up to 200 entries.
