         According to Telenet, the new PC-Pursuit pricing is still
    cheaper than other methods available to us.  Well, the United
    States Postal Service is cheaper for one, but here is another
    alternative.  The USRobotics Courier HST 9600/19200 modem used
    under AT&T's Reach Out America plan delivers quite a punch:

    HST takes  17.45% the transfer time of a PCP/2400 connection.
    HST is    572.92% speed efficient over PCP/2400.
    HST is     79.57% cost efficient over PCP/2400 rate #1.
    HST is    358.07% cost efficient over PCP/2400 rate #2.
    HST is    596.79% cost efficient over PCP/2400 rate #3.

    Advantages of PC-Pursuit:
      1) DAF/2400 destinations are still cheaper than connecting to
         the same system via HST because network node BUSYs are free.
      2) You don't spend $600.00 investment on an HST.

    Advantages of AT&T Reach Out America:
      1) Sign up fee is $10.00 to Telenet's $30.00.
      2) CAP is $7.50 a month to Telenet's $30.00.
      3) You don't have to pay $30.00 a month if you don't use the
         service up to 30 hours.  (See HST vs PCP/2400 rate #1.)
      4) AT&T rates can go down the more you use--Telenet's goes up.
      5) The nightly and weekend hours are similar to Telenet's.
      6) You don't pay for BUSY! signals. (5 to 20% on PC-Pursuit may
         be redialing BUSY! systems. See HST vs PCP/2400 rate #1.)
      7) You get a detailed bill of numbers and times called.
      8) Your voice calls will be much cheaper.
      9) Your are not limited to 34 cities.
     10) AT&T doesn't go down and tell us that the "engineers are
         working on it."
     11) AT&T doesn't have packet delays.

    Advantages of USRobotics Courier HST:
      1) Advanced MicroComm Networking Protocol(tm) (MNP-4) error
         control assures accurate transfers.
      2) Allows use of Zmodem, Ymodem-G, I-Modem, and other streaming
         protocols for throughput speeds of 1100 CPS (MNP-4) to 1740
         CPS (MNP-5: data compression). (Statistics use the 1100 CPS.)
      3) USRobotics new Dual Standard modem that will have both HST
         and V.32 9600 standards solidifying the HST as standard.
