Welcome to GACQ Setup! We've tried to make the installation as easy as we could for you. Our doors support speeds up to 115,200 as well as non-standard IRQs. For the non-standard IRQ addresses, in the door.bat file (see sample), you simply add / and your IRQ for the modem (example: doorname doorname.cfg /5 if your modem is on IRQ 5). In the configuration file you need four items, in this order: 1- Path and name of your drop file (See Sample) 2-BBS Name (See Sample) 3-SysOp First Name (See Sample) 4-SysOp Last Name (See Sample) In the door.bat file you need the following items: Change the directory to where the door files are located (Example: CD\WC30\DOORS\DIRNAME) Call the door name and config file name (Example: AC AC.CFG) If you run a non-standard IRQ add after "AC AC.CFG" the switch( / ) and the IRQ the modem is on (Example: AC AC.CFG /5 for IRQ 5) If you want the top scores to be displayed as bulletins then copy the XXtopscs.dat file to your bulletin directory with the name of the bulletin. (Example: COPY ACTOPSCS.DAT D:\WC30\BULL\BULL1.BBS) That's all there is to it! With the ShareWare evaluation version we have not included a monthly reset, but this feature is in the registered version as well as added configurability such as plays per day, rounds per play, etc. Should you need to purge the score files (there are 2 of them) just use the DOS "COPY CON" command, enter 3 null lines and save that. If you want to play the game locally, just run the local.bat file included. Have fun! The KWAKS at Greater American Computer Quacks
