                          What is the "BBS RT"?
                          ---------------------

The BBS RT ("RT" = Round Table!) is a gathering place for BBS SYSOPs and
Users. We maintain a large number of files online for the SYSOP to 
download and add to their BBS. Currently, we have well over 6000 files 
available for your use! Everything from BBS DOORS, to full BBS packages.

We also have on hand the authors of a number of BBS Doors, and full
packages for support. If you have ever wanted to start your own BBS, or
just upgrade your present BBS, the BBS RT on GEnie is the place to be.

The Userbase is the real resource here! We have thousands of members
and a large usercount each day. There are places for you to advertise 
your BBS, and to locate other resources.

It is the goal of the GEnie BBS RT staff to turn around every file which
is uploaded in under 24 hours. So far, in 99 percent of the cases, we 
have met that goal.

We deal ONLY in shareware/public domain software. So every file is OK
to drop on your board.

We have a support staff second to none. If you have a legal question,
we have an on-staff lawyer who deals with telecommunications issues. If
it's a HERMES inquiry, we have a support person. IBM question, more 
support people. We also try to answer all questions within 24 hours.
