JVArcServ V1.08 : January 2, 1993. JVArcServ is a server that will satisfy your requests in looking for a certain program based on filename or file description. This server will search through file requestable file listings for the program you are looking for, and it will send you an e-mail message back telling you the BBS name, phone number, and file section of all the systems in the network that match the given criteria. Commands that JVArcServ understand: PROG Searches for in filenames. WHAT Searches for in file descriptions. KEY Searches for in either filenames or file descriptions. KEYWORD Same as KEY, except that must be a word on its own and not part of a word. EG, KEYWORD MAIL will match only "mail" and not "echomail". LISTNODES List the nodes that currently have file listings here. LISTMAGIC Lists all of the magic filenames at . LISTSECTIONS Lists all of the file sections at . LISTAKA [] List all of the AKAs of all of the nodes who have file listings here. If is supplied, then only lists AKAs of . ZONES List the zones known at this location, including the zone number, the name of the zone, and the number of nodes which are in the zone and have file listings here. REGINFO Send information on how to register your node with JVArcServ. You must obtain this information before you try to register. Doing otherwise may be hazardous to the harmony of the universe as we know it. REGISTER [] Register your node with JVArcServ. Send the "REGINFO" command and read the information that is sent to you before you try using this command. is an optional address field that you can use if you are long distance from this node, but both you and this system is local to .
