TurBoard v0.40 Install Notes If you are installing TurBoard for the first time, use the INSTALL.BAT program found in the TB040.ZIP file. Unzip the TB040 file in the directory you wish TurBoard to use, and type INSTALL. From TurBoard v0.36 - Erase SYSTEM.DAT, NODE1.DAT and unzip YAK.ZIP into your YAK directory. Copy *.CHR and *.BGI into your TurBoard directory. From TurBoard v0.39 - Copy TURBOARD.EXE and TURBOARD.OVR over your existing versions. Do the same with TBFIDO.EXE. If you are running FidoNet, you will need to use the *.BAT files found in TB040FDO.ZIP. --- TurBoard v0.40 supports NAPLPS graphics, the adapters and modes supported are: CGA - 4 Color 320 x 200 Mode (Colors Locked) EGA - 16 Color Mode (NAPLPS Colors) VGA - 16 Color Mode (NAPLPS Colors) If you have problems with flickering screens during NAPLPS graphics, use the "-cbios" command line switch (this tells TurBoard to use BIOS calls instead of direct hardware writes to change colors, which may cause loss of characters in terminal mode.) Ex: TB 1 -CBIOS (1 is node number)
