       -===== Rules For Barren Realms Elite (BRE) League 45 =====-

        These rules are designed to enhance game play, rather
        than to handicap playing!


-=*= The same player on multiple BBSes =*=-

Players are only allowed to play on one BBS at a time.
It is your job (since you are the sysop) to make sure this
does not happen.  We require that you put the following lines
in your RESOURCE.DAT file:

CheckDupes                           TRUE
CheckDupesAlternate                  TRUE
DupeAlternateFile                    "DOOR.SYS"
; Where DOOR.SYS is the name and path to the DOOR.SYS drop

DupeAlternateLine                    10


-=*= Cheating =*=-

Knowingly letting your users cheat on BRE can lead to
the following discipline:

1. having your BRE packets deleted for a determined amount of time

2. temporarily taking your BBS off the BRE nodelist

3. permanently removing your BBS from the BRE nodelist


-=*= Deleting or modifying BRE packets =*=-

Purposely deleting BRE packets to avoid incoming or
outgoing data (ie attacks, spies, etc), can have the same
effects as knowingly allowing users to cheat.

These are all of the BRE rules for now, but the FIRENET/REBELnet 
administration reserves the right to change, modify, totally rewrite, 
or abolish these rules.
