I have assigned you the FidoNet node number of 1:105/xx. I will also assign you an Admin Hub for the NET105 echo conference and for your weekly FidoNews Newsletter. More on that at the bottom of this message. For Long Distance EchoMail you have a choice. There are currently 2 ways to get echomail in Portand. Net 105 has an echomail fund that runs on a voluntary pay method. You pay 5 dollars a month for your feed. Payment is usually made at the monthly sysop meetings held on the 6th of each month in various locations around the city. Notice of such meetings is given in the Net105/PdxSysop/and Announce echo conferences. The other echomail program is called Cascade Echo Mail. This is a pay-to-play venture that requires monthly dues paid before you can receive echomail. It also runs at 5 dollars a month (I believe). To join the Net105 echo fund, netmail Scott Losli at 105/334. To join CEM, netmail Ken Zwaschka at 105/54. Also please note that if you are NOT CM (Crash or Continuous Mail) and are planning on recieving EchoMail, you MUST make arrangements to pick up and recieve your EchoMail at some other time than ZMH... I will be sending your weekly NodeDiff to you. If you have any changes to your nodelist entry, I must recieve then via NETMAIL prior to Monday at 1800 of the week that you wish the change to take effect.. ie: If you had wanted to change your BBS name in NodeLIST.214 (published Friday August 2, 1991), I would have needed the information by Monday July 29th.. Please reply to me at 105/61 or 105/1000 to confirm receipt of this message, and for assignment of your ADMIN Hub. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me... Welcome to FidoNet!
