GRAND CENTRAL BUG FIXES ---------------------------- Version 1.01 - 10 August 1990 1) Several Grand Central programs experienced serious errors when the "Maximum Number of Users" RBBS parameter and the number of GC conferences were both high. Corrected. 2) GC.EXE crashed when the RBBS' principal Sysop attempted to log on remotely. Corrected. 3) CONVSCRN.EXE sometimes missed converting the last line in the screen file. This could, in turn, cause GC.EXE to crash when it attempted to retrieve the last screen in a file. Corrected. 4) The documentation in Section 8.6 was not clear on the point that the GC.EXE /USER= option is for use only on the host PC and will not work on remote connections. Rewritten. Version 1.0 -- 19 June 1990 OPTIMIZE: Optimization causes letter trace problems. Corrected. GC : Message deletion locks conference into "NEW MESSAGES". Corrected. MAILCHEK: Possible system crashes when run with previously- activated carrier watchdog programs. See GC-DOCS Section 8.11 for more details.
