                  -  What the Hell is it? -

  The main purpose of this program was to provide me with a list of
  the users on my small system. I wanted to be able to have a list
  (preferably on hardcopy) that I could check occasionally and delete
  users that had not subscribed to my system or their subscriptions
  had expired and they had not called for a period of time. In this
  area there are many people of Finnish extraction and not being one,
  I found great difficulty in my attempts at correctly spelling their
  names when using the "Modify" command from the sysop menu to delete
  some of these users. If I had a "list" with the names on it, I could
  then correctly spell the names and do a number of them at the same
  time without jumping back and forth from the Utility Menu of RBBS 
  and listing out the users, scribbling down their names and then 
  using the Sysop Modify Menu to delete them. I used USR-EDIT with
  good success but it did not provide me with the "hardcopy" list 
  that I wanted. The program started to grow and GROW and finally it
  became this massive, bloated creature called PU173!

  PU173 will:

> Display a singular user with 98% of the information from the user
  file. [Daily Upload and Download bytes are NOT shown or the Color a
  user has chosen to use]

> Display ALL of the users on screen with their City and State, 
  Security Level, and the Last Date they called your system.
  This list can be called using LAST NAME FIRST and sorted either A-Z
  or Z-A order.

> Print to LPT(1-3) ALL users including their City and State, Security
  Level and the Last Date they called your system.
  This list can be called using LAST NAME FIRST and sorted either A-Z
  or Z-A order.

> Create a DELIMITED file of ALL the users with 98% of the information
  from the user file. The same 2% is omitted that was omitted from the
  Singular display above. This file can then be "imported" into various
  databases.

  NO writing or changing is done to your USER file in ANY of the
  functions of the program. The USER file is ONLY read!
