  - network and filename can be selected from listbox
  - better format of message descriptions
  - header screen shows all header values (method, length, date, etc)
  - uses WWIV.INI file for options

PMELLNET 2.0  (OS/2)     9/93  =First OS/2 version
  - "2.0" chosen to emphasize similarity of features with DOS version
  - multithreaded, graphical Presentation Manager application
  - multithreadedness allows simultaneous viewing of multiple messages
  - uses standard file-open dialogbox rather than choose-net+choose-file

ELLNET   2.0á (PC-DOS)   07/93  =Limited test release
  - 2.0 with major sections of code missing: no help, header editing
  - used old code for handling packet files
  - after this release, project put on hold for several months

ELLNET   1.0a (PC-DOS)   04/93  =Slipstreamed upgrade
  - rewritten docs; editing of FROM headers no longer promised, due to
    network security concerns

ELLNET   1.0  (PC-DOS)   04/93  =First public release
  - functions: view, delete, extract, header edit
  - registration benefits include editing of FROM headers
    (This offer was withdrawn shortly after ELLNET's release, as it would
     make forgery too easy.  At that time, I suggested adding path
     information as part of the network protocol; this suggestion eventually
     became the ^0R: lines in NET33).
  - bugs: sometimes locked up when deleting posts with list_len>0
