                Intel SatisFAXion Driver for OS/2
                Copyright 1992, Wayne J. Desmond

The Intel SatisFAXion board does not currently support OS/2.  It
is basically a programmable communications device emulator and
has an on-board CPU, bus, RAM and CMOS storage.  The DOS device
driver supplied by Intel, uploads a bootstrap loader and
operating system to the board.  This allows the board to emulate
a communications device and also allows easy upgrade to support
enhanced communications protocols and features by simply
uploading enhanced emulation code.

The loader for the Intel SatisFAXion board, written by Wayne J.
Desmond, emulates the portion of the SATISFAX.SYS DOS device
driver supplied by Intel, that initializes the modem portion of
the board.  The loader does not support any CAS or fax commands.
The loader was developed as part of a commercial software
package for the Intel SatisFAXion board and is available for
OS/2 version 1.3 and 2.0.  A version for the Coherent operating
system version 4.0.1 is also available.

The software is available on either 5-1/4 (1.2 Meg) or 3-1/5
(1.44 Meg) diskettes by sending a check or money order for
$24.95 to:

Please specify what disk size you prefer and which operating
system you are running.

Since this loader was developed for internal use as part of a
commercial, unreleased product, support and future upgrades are
not generally available.  The diskette will contain installation
instructions for either OS/2 or Coherent.  This is copyrighted
software and is not public domain or shareware.  You are not
free to distribute it, run it on more than one CPU at a time, or
copy the diskette, except to make one copy for backup purposes.
