This, the newest release includes corrections to All Known problems, 
screen resolutions 640x480, 800x600, and 1024x768, and Sports a BRAND 
NEW FEATURE:  Double Click a Bulletin and you can Copy it to a New Bulletin
in the same Category, Another Category, Or Another Bulletin Board System
(even over telephone lines) without a single Keystroke!
 
Before Installing, Delete Old READ_1ST.TXT file from Windows directory so
the installation can install the new copy with updated information in it!
 
DESCRIPTION:  Pin Ups Version 1.1a is a LAN-based Bulletin Board System
for Windows 3.x, Windows for Workgroups 3.11, & Windows NT environments.
Offering Multiple Bulletin Boards as well as Remote Access Links to other
Bulletin Boards in other Cities or Countries, It now makes Centralizing
messages easier than ever while eliminating the need to proliferate the
same message to each and every Email user.
 
PINUPS.EXE Shareware Version, and can be installed either from a hard
disk drive directory or a 720 KB (or larger) diskette while in Windows.


Here is a summary of Pin Ups features:

1)  Bulletins can be created by anyone and need not have unique Subject 
names, although it is easier to keep track of subjects if they are unique 
to each bulletin.

2)  Only the originator of a bulletin can delete it or change what it 
says.  And since his or her login name accompanies the bulletin, Pin Ups 
will be used in a professional manner.

3)  Once a bulletin has reached its expiration date, the system will 
delete it at its next access.  This automatic purging keeps the volume 
of information to a manageable level.

4)  Pin Ups can be used as an internal tool as well as LAN wide.  That is,
you can have one system of Pin Ups for everyone in your organization and 
another system for the LAN as a whole.

5)  Shortcut buttons below the menu bar place most frequently used 
functions just a click away rather than requiring you to traverse 
pull-down menus.

6)  Double Click a Bulletin and you can Copy it to a New Bulletin in the 
same Category, Another Category, Or Another Bulletin Board System.

IMPORTANT SYSTEM FILES INFORMATION

When you download PINUPS.EXE, simply type its name at the command prompt 
in any directory on any drive and it will self-extract into a Windows 
installation set.  Then execute the setup command to install it.  If you 
really want to experience its awesome value, install it on a PC server 
where others can get to it.  Your inputs and theirs will not conflict!

Pin Ups has been engineered with security in mind so all system files and 
directories are not readily accessible from DOS or Windows' File Manager.

They can, however, be edited if they need to be if, for some reason you 
wish to change how a category's name is spelled (all CAPS in some cases).
To access them, you need to put Pin Ups in SysOp mode.

Sorry -- The file open dialog box cannot open a Pin Ups system file either!
