In order for this program to work correctly you will
need to install all the files contained in the .zip 
file into a directory called "Euphoria" and associated
subdirectories. The program "vgnetset.exe" will do this
for you as well as set up a Voices Galore program group
in Program Manager. To execute this program either run
it from the Program Manager File Menu or "double click" 
on "vgnetset.exe" in File Manager

You can then run Voices Galore in the usual manner from
Windows or by executing vgnetcim.exe which will be found
in the "euphoria" directory. Operation of the program 
should be self explanatory after startup. Simply choose 
male or female to get a male or female voice, then the
type of sound/voice you would like to install. A list
will appear and you can select and play the sounds.
You can then install the sound on your system by 
clicking on the install button... That's all there is
to it!

This program has been tested on a number of different 
machines. The most common problem we have found is an
out of memory problem for some audio drivers. If you
develop such a problem first try and shut down all other
programs you are using under windows. Occasionally you
might just have to re-attempt the operation (playing  
the chosen voice file). Voices files tend to be large
and the OLE that allows this program to function can
sometimes be slow, especially on 386 machines or those
with less than 8 megs of RAM (12+ is preferable). If you
run into any other problems with either installation or
operating this program, we have not seen them and would
appreciate you making us aware of them.

If you are running this program unders Windows 3.1, it
might be necessary for you to add the code

c:\dos\share.exe

to your autoexec.bat file. If you are experiencing
problems, try this as well.

In addition, for this program to function properly, you 
must have the file vbrun300.dll in the c:\windows\system
directory. If this does not work, place it directly
in the c:\euphoria directory.

Voices Galore will send you 8 new voices for any bugs
you discover (as well as debugged software). Please let
us know the following about your set up if you encounter a 
bug.

1. Type of computer
2. Processor (386, 486, Pentium, etc.)
3. Clock Speed (33mhz, 60mhz, etc.)
4. Sound Card
5. Copy of config.sys
6. Copy of autoexec.bat

If you enjoy this program, please send in your registration

Program Group. This not only allows you to get additional voices
for Voices Galore but also future upgrades.
