I downloaded this program from the Eclectic Ibm in NYC recently and
apparently Qmodem users replace their old qmodem.xlt with this new version.
Somehow this modified qmodem.xlt helps the modem deal with the line noise problms that plagues many users.
Perhaps it acts as a filter...If anyone knows what the qmodem.xlt file actually
does in the qmodem program, leave me a message. Anyhow, It does seem to
cut down on errors from line noise for me (placebo effect?? - who knows?).
