This is the Atlas Mapping Software demonstration. It makes use of the Atlas software and the MapEdit software, from Strategic Locations Planning. You may copy and distribute this demo freely. This demo will run only on an IBM PC/XT/AT or 100% compatible with an IBM CGA graphics card (4-color, medium resolution) or compatible. If you have a hard disk, create a new subdirectory called DEMO on your hard disk and copy all of the files from DEMO DISK A and DEMO DISK B into the DEMO subdirectory. Then with DEMO as the default subdirectory type ATLAS and press [Enter]. If you boot up from your A drive, make sure your DOS bootup disk is in drive A. If you have a two floppy drive system, put DEMO DISK A into drive A. Copy COMMAND.COM from your DOS disk onto DEMO DISK A. Place DEMO DISK B into drive B. With drive A as the default drive, type ATLAS1 and press [Enter]. The demo consists of several parts, labeled "A" thru "F" in the demo menu. It is optimal to run the parts in the order they are shown in the demo menu. NOTE: The demo must be able to find COMMAND.COM either on your bootup drive (hard disk use) or on DEMO DISK A (floppy drive use). If the demo cannot find the COMMAND.COM file, it will automatically reboot your system.
