In order to invoke this program you have to boot up with config.sys. Let config.sys contain device=ansi.sys You must have a ram drive or a hard drive. Simply create a ram drive (it must be drive C) then copy: CHKDSK.COM FORMAT.COM SDIR22.COM - a useful sort utility for a directory listing. This program was public domain. to drive C. Then place the diskette that contains Fkeys.com in a drive and type: [d:]Fkeys Where d is a drive letter containing the Fkeys program. The re - definement of the function keys are as follows: F1 = DIR A:/P F2 = DIR B:/P F3 = DIR C:/P F4 = C:SDIR22 F5 = DIR/W F6 = C:FORMAT F7 = C:CHKDSK F8 = COPY F9 = DEL F10 = EDLIN Then hit F1 - F10 to get the command requested.
