R.F.D #2 Auburn, NH 03032 (Comments, suggestions and bug reports are also welcome) Using To begin type in "IE" - this will bring you into the Icon Editor. Any of the four options at the top of the screen can be accesed through using the mouse. The color bars are just beneath the options. The number you have will depend on what type of monitor you are using. The box to the far right beneath the colors is what the current image looks like as an icon. Below that is what color you are using. On the left is a large box usually filled with little dots. That is the grid on which you will design your icon. When you have the mouse on the grid the following commands are in action: Left Mouse Button: Turn on the icon pixel in the current color Middle Mouse Button (Or Both): Allows you to fill in a larger area by dragging the mouse across the area you wish to fill Right Mouse Button: Turns off the icon pixel and into the background which is represented by those little dots If a grid space is filled with dots that means it will take the color of Window 3.0's background (it will be transparent). If it is a solid color then the color will not change depending on windows. When you have finished your icon you will want to save it. Just click on "Load" and type in the name of your icon (followed by the ICO extension) Also, to change the blinking box on the grid to the normal cursor just press "T" (or "t").
