Kansys, Inc. is a small company that writes and sells computer
software, produces custom braille materials and provides computer
training and other consulting services.  Our products are
designed to be easily used by both blind and sighted computer
users.  It is our goal to produce useful and affordable products
which are optimize for use by blind persons using speech
synthesizers and screen review programs, but that are still
functional and attractive to sighted users.  In addition to RALPH
THE READER, we also sell the following software packages.

     PROVOX:  PROVOX is a memory resident screen review program
for IBM and compatible computers.  It intercepts all information
sent to your computer's screen and directs this output to a
supported synthesizer.  Supported synthesizers include the Votrax
Votalker IB and Artic Technologies SynPhonix 200 internal boards
and the Votrax Personal Speech System and Echo GP external
synthesizers.  In the very near future, PROVOX will also support
the Braille 'n Speak from Blazie Engineering, the Votrax Type 'n
Talk, the Accent line from Aicom and others.  Please contact us

     PROVOX allows you to review the screen a character, word,
line or screen at a time.  There are many commands to control the
portion of the screen you read and how it is read.  You can also
set up "sub-screens" which are commands that read pre-defined
areas of the screen.

     All PROVOX commands are preceded by a press of the slash
(/) key, called the prefix key.  To type a true slash, just press
it twice.  This frees up all function, control and alt key
combinations for use by your applications, eliminating all key
conflicts.  PROVOX only occupies 13K of your computer's memory
and comes with a tutor to teach you your computer's keyboard and
how to use the program.  It also quizzes you along the way so
that you can gauge your progress.  Price:  $295.00.



     TURBO BRAILLE:  Turbo Braille is a grade II translation and
text formatting program.  It accepts any standard Wordstar,
WordPerfect or formatted ASCII text file as input and produces
properly formatted Grade II braille.  The program can also
produce Grade I and computer braille.  There are commands to
change between these modes within a file.  

     Because of its ability to handle formatting as well as
translation, Turbo Braille can be used by a person who does not
know anything about braille.  The program will properly handle
print and braille page numbers, and running headers and footers. 
For more precise editing and formatting, Turbo Braille can also
produce "BIF," or (braille intermediate files.)  These files
contain the text and simple dot commands used to control
formatting.  The translation rules are contained in an external
table in ASCII text, so are user modifiable.  Price:  $195.00.  



     NAMES:  "NAMES" is an easy-to-use program which will allow
you to keep track of names, addresses, phone numbers and
identifying information called "Tags," on everyone you know.

     "NAMES" can display information to your computer's screen,
or print address information onto a variety of label sizes or
individual envelopes.  Each entry is defined by a unique Key of
any length.  Keys are used for sorting data.  All fields,
including Name, two address lines, city, state, zip, home and
work phone numbers and an unlimited number of Tags are pre-
defined, so all you have to do is start entering data.  The size
of your lists is only limited by the size of your computer's
memory.  We have successfully used the program with lists of 1000
entries or more.  

     The program permits you to load and save multiple lists,
mark or unmark entries and retrieve entries by Tags or Keys. 
With the use of Tags, you can accomplish tasks that others use
expensive and complicated database programs to do.  We think that
you'll find "NAMES" to be all the list management software you
