CLOCK.EXE CLOCK.EXE when run will produce a colorful clock, resembling a wall clock. Besides giving you a pretty clock that will "chime" on the hour at the computer cost of about $2000 instead of $10 for a quartz clock itself, the program does has a useful purpose (if one stretches the definition "useful" to the maximum). The clock can be used to set the computer internal clock instead of the normal TIME? prompt that requires setting at normal "boot-up". The function keys are used to set the time, both on the clock and the computer. Since the clock reads the internal computer timer to set it's time, the clock really verifies the computer time. The function keys F1, F3 and F5 are used to ADVANCE the hours, minutes and seconds respectively. Similarly, the function keys F2, F4 and F6 are used to RETARD the hours, minutes and seconds respectively. When you have finished setting your computer's time and have finished admiring this beautiful clock you can use F10 to exit to DOS. Thusly, this program makes a nice addition to your AUTOEXEC.BAT file. The program can also be used to amaze your friends and neighbors showing them how really useful your computer is around the house!!!
