A new version of uuencode and uudecode for DOS. Wow! Is this spiffy! This is definitely the one to use. The submitter says: Below is my latest version of UUENCODE/DECODE version 4.13. It is similiar to version 4.02 except several bugs have been fixed. There was a whole class of problems involving a European file server/archiver which these fixes resolved. Also the programs now accept '/' as equivalent to '\' in file names. This program quickly decodes multi-section encoded files. It takes files as sent; it removes header and trailer lines. It does all sorts of checksum and CRC verification. It pretty much accepts anything you can throw at it. This is the fifth major release of this package. I have lots of little tests in the decode for all sorts of conditions that the various encoders put in files. To use the decode, just download files as FOO1.UUE, FOO2.UUE, etc to your PC and enter UUDECODE FOO. I realize that you need a decoder to get this. So if you send me $5 I will send a diskette with the UUENCODE/DECODE programs. For an additional $5 I will send all the archive programs (ZOO, PKZIP, PAK, LHARC, PKARC) that will fit on the diskette. The PK... programs are shareware. Richard Marks 931 Sulgrave Lane Bryn Mawr, PA 19010
