CALLZIP v1.0 07/20/89 ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Not to much to know about how to use this one, CALLZIP.EXE simply calls PKZIP and zips your caller files using "maximized for size" commpression (-ex). Guess the means you'll need to have PKZIP.EXE in your path, and why not just stick CALLZIP.EXE in there too while your at it. It uses your systems date for a file name so that you can stow the file away with some kind of reference. The syntax for use is as follows: callzip caller*. Simple enough? As you can see Callzip will accept wildcards for all of you with the multi-user versions of GAP. So far the utility does not delete your caller logs. I leave that bit all up to you since we all have our own way of doing things. If it is desirable to delete your log files after Callzip is done. I would simply recommend using Callzip in a batch file. I suppose Callzip could be used for any situation that where it would be nice to catalog files in this manor so have a ball. This is such a simple little utility I can't imagine it doing anything disastrous to anything. None the less, if it does.... Don't blame me! You choose to use it, you have accepted FULL responsibility. If it does cause a problem, I would like to know so I can try to take care of it. Also, if you have any ideas for other little gizmos like this but don't have the facilities to do anything about it, drop me a message and I'll see if I can't do up a special order for you.
